"Deux Filles en Fil" develops ethical values by recovering surplus materials from the fashion industry. The leather collection is composed of luxurious leather handbags and accessories available in a wide array of colors due to the renewal of the leather. Each bag is produced in a mini-series. Concerning the textile collection, the different patterns used are offcuts from fashion industries. So mittens, leg-warmers and collar are also produced in limited quantity for each pattern.
"Deux Filles en Fil" choose to work with local subcontractors for ethical reasons. Based in Western France (Maine-et-Loire), all our bags and accessories are made locally in this region well known for its luxury industries and which is facing economic difficulties due to business closures. We develop partnerships with the last subcontractors in our area to keep the know-how in our region.
